Asheville beat Texas at Quick Stop Stadium, eking out a 2-1 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Jonathan Lee, who earned player of the game honors. Texas, at 24-51, has lost 6 straight.

Asheville took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With no one out, left fielder Wen-huan Yep hit a 2-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Texas manager Todd Newcomer said following the tough loss.
