Bernard goes 4-for-5 as Hitmakers Squeeze Past Indianapolis
The Motown Hitmakers downed the Indianapolis Indians, 10-9, at Old League Park. José Bernard led the way, going 4-for-5 for Motown. The Hitmakers bumped their record to 39-35 with this latest triumph.

José Lluea, who is tied for 9th in the NL in home runs with 17, chipped in for Motown with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the first baseman had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 2 home runs, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 3 RBI.
