Trojans Need Extras to Top Indians
|
Warren starter Mario Rojas pitched effectively against the Indianapolis Indians at Thunder Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a 5-3 win. The Trojans sit in 4th place in the Nationalist League Stars Division with a record of 32-40.
The Trojans got a big at-bat from second baseman Doug Scott. For the game, Scott was 3-6 with 3 singles and 2 walks. In the top of the 15th, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 75th hit of the season gave Warren a 4-3 lead.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Rojas.
