Dam Site starter Bill Black had a strong outing against the Texas Renegades at The Cavern. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-1 win. The Drifters raised their record to 29-36.

The Drifters got a big at-bat from second baseman Fernando Arroyo. For the game, Arroyo was 1 for 4. In the top of the second, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 53rd hit of the season gave Dam Site a 1-0 lead.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Arroyo told the Dam Site News. "But we take nothing for granted."
