Fishers Win to Extend Series Lead to 3-0
The Wildwood Fishers got an exceptional performance from starter Xiao-yong Zhou, who silenced the Atlanta offense en route to a 3-0 shutout win in Game 3 of the George Washington Trophy today. The Peaches could never get a bead on the right-handed Zhou, who threw 9 innings of shutout ball to earn player of the game honors. The Fishers now hold a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Zhou pitched a complete game for Wildwood. The right-hander was charged with no runs on 3 hits. He struck out 3 during his 112-pitch performance.

"We have been clicking right from the start of this series, so our mission statement at the moment is just don't tinker with anything," Wildwood manager Scott Smith told reporters.

Game 4 is scheduled for tomorrow at Griffith's Park. Slated to start are Tim García for the Wildwood Fishers and Carl Jenkins for the the Atlanta Peaches.
