Already down in the Alexander Hamilton Cup, the Iowa City Stalkers put on their best show, beating the Wildwood Fishers by a final score of 2-1 today. Michael Booth earned player of the game honors, as he threw 8 innings of 7-hit ball. Iowa City now trails Wildwood 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

Jesús Zambrano played a key role in the win for the Stalkers. The first baseman punched a solo home run in the bottom of the third inning. For the game, Zambrano was 1-4 with a home run.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Booth.

Game 4 is scheduled for tomorrow in Iowa City. Slated to start are José Rodríguez for Wildwood and Joseph Burns for Iowa City.
