Texas Wins at Home to Narrow Series Deficit to 2-1
The Texas Renegades have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Ypsi Yard Cats, winning 3-1 at The Cavern today. Renegades right-hander Ken Curry threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The win cuts the deficit facing the Renegades to 2-1 in the best-of-7 Alexander Hamilton Cup.

Sener Al-Fanari, the Texas designated hitter, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth inning to make the score 2-1, Renegades. For the game, Al-Fanari was 2-4 with 2 singles.

Al-Fanari said his team "played with determination."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Cavern in Dallas.
