The Asheville Boomsticks stopped the Indianapolis Indians, 10-6, behind an impressive performance from Júlio Bautista. The slugging left fielder made life miserable for Indianapolis pitching. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Nate Díaz, the winner, improved to 12-8. He held the Indians to 5 runs on 4 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 10 and walking 3. The triumph puts Asheville at 82-75 for the season.
