The Central Valley Turkey Vultures defeated the Dam Site Drifters, 10-9, at The Euclyptus Nest. José Rodríguez was a standout performer for Central Valley. His 4 hits included 2 singles and 2 doubles, in addition to the 2 runs he scored and 3 he knocked in. Central Valley reliever Flint Hardy picked up the win, upping his record to 6-8. Michinori Shinohara shouldered the loss. The Turkey Vultures go to 60-96 with the win.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Rodríguez hit a cutter from Michinori Shinohara for a run-scoring double. The Turkey Vultures, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Rodríguez.
