Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Dam Site Drifters and Letterkenny Shamrocks.

The Dam Site Drifters faced a tough opponent in Letterkenny pitcher John Totten, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Letterkenny Memorial Ballpark by a final score of 3-2. Totten went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. The victory gives Dam Site a record of 81-69.

Dam Site used the bat of Pedro Trejo to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Drifters ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Dam Site skipper Andy Evans.
