Velázquez goes 4-for-4 in Drifters Win
Gerardo Velázquez was a major factor in the 11-5 Dam Site win over Wicker Park. The Drifters first baseman went 4-4 with 3 doubles and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. Frank Bryant earned the win to go to 3-2. He allowed 3 runs on 8 hits, with no walks and 8 strikeouts in 7 innings of work. With the win, Dam Site upped its record to 74-66.

With Dam Site leading 3-2 in the bottom of the third, Velázquez hit a fastball from Randall Evans for a 2-run double. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Drifters ahead, 5-2.
