Drifters Collect 6-5 Win Over Nightmare
Fans watched the Dam Site Drifters and the Nashville Nightmare fight to the finish.

The Dam Site Drifters had to overcome a big game from Nashville left fielder Joe Rhodes to leave Flaming Ashes Ballpark with a victory. And they did, winning 6-5. Rhodes was 4-7 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win elevated the Drifters to 69-60.

The outcome might have been different for Dam Site, had it not been for Li-zhu Shu, the speedster . Shu stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 14th inning to put Dam Site up, 6-5. For the game, he was 2 for 7, including 1 double and 1 single.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Shu told the Dam Site News.
