Alejandro Carapia was superb against Ludington. The right-hander, who led the TTWB in ERA with 2.55 last year, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Mud Hens victory. The score was 5-4. Great Black Swamp pitcher Sean Barrett got the win. He's now 2-5. Harry Salazar was tagged with the loss. The victory puts Great Black Swamp at 48-79.

Fernando Rojas was the walk-off hero for Great Black Swamp. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mud Hens center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Carapia described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
