The Letterkenny Shamrocks beat the Reykjavik Phoenix, 8-5, at Flaming Ashes Ballpark. Bryce Taylor, in particular, was impressive. He went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was Tomás Silva. His record is now 9-12. The right-hander went 7.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits for the Shamrocks. Len Johnson notched his 3rd save in 3 chances.

Billy Taylor, the fan favorite , had a direct impact on the outcome. Taylor contributed a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put Letterkenny up, 5-2.
