Indianapolis picked up a win at Thunder Stadium, toppling the Wildwood Fishers, 7-3. Pitcher José Rivera was one of the reasons the Indians triumphed. Rivera, now 4-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 8, walking 3, and allowing 3 runs. The victory puts Indianapolis at 49-79.

With two out in the bottom of the third, Francisco Martínez barreled up a fastball from Jaime Flores. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Indians in front, 4-0.
