Heisenbergs Earn 3-0 Win Against Yard Cats
The Duke City Heisenbergs took Ypsi pitcher Todd Brown's best shot and still were able to claim a win at James R. Fouts Memorial Stadium. The final score had Duke City getting past the Yard Cats, 3-0. Brown went 8.1 innings and allowed no runs, striking out 8. With the win, Duke City pushed its record to 66-59.

Duke City won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With two outs and Ernesto Santiago on the mound for Ypsi, left fielder Tim Briggs hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Heisenbergs fans to their feet.

Briggs said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
