The Indianapolis Indians picked up a win at Flaming Ashes Ballpark, taking down the Reykjavik Phoenix, 3-2. Starting pitcher Bartolo Guevara was a big reason why. Whit Cunningham notched his 10th save in 13 chances. The Indians go to 48-76 with the win.

Indianapolis used a clutch hit from Devanucara Bhatt to get the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Indians ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Guevara. "Successful pitchers do it."
