Texas got a terrific performance from pitcher Timothy Qualtrough, but it wasn't enough to beat the Central Valley Turkey Vultures. Central Valley won the The Euclyptus Nest contest, 3-2. Qualtrough threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. The win was credited to Félix Torres in relief. His record improves to 4-4. Mark Geehan took the loss. The win has Central Valley at 43-78.

Nikolao Suaniu was the walk-off hero for Central Valley. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Turkey Vultures designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"Winning never gets dull," said Suaniu.
