Nightmare Edge Boomsticks, 5-4

The Nashville Nightmare topped the Asheville Boomsticks, 5-4, in To The Wall Baseball action at Flaming Ashes Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Nashville pitcher Juan Castro. With the win, Nashville pushed its record to 59-59.
One of the clutch hits for Nashville came from one of their biggest talents. In the bottom of the seventh with two out, Landon Williams, who finished 4th in the TTWB in home runs with 50 last year, hit a run-scoring single to put the Nightmare up, 5-2. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 3 with a walk.
"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Williams after the game.
