The home crowd had a good time watching the Dam Site Drifters and Diablo Canyon Tritium get after it.

The Diablo Canyon Tritium topped the Dam Site Drifters, 7-1, in To The Wall Baseball action at Fission Field. The standout performance belonged to Diablo Canyon pitcher and Portage la Prairie, Canada, native Dave Beauchamp. The winning pitcher was Beauchamp, now 10-10. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 4.

The Tritium got a big at-bat from center fielder David Rodríguez. For the game, Rodríguez went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 6th double of the season gave Diablo Canyon a 2-0 lead.

"We'll savor this win," Beauchamp told the Diablo Canyon Chronicle, "then get ready for the next game."

The win puts Diablo Canyon at 45-73.
