In a low-scoring tilt between the Diablo Canyon Tritium and the Dam Site Drifters, Aaron Chávez was the difference-maker. The Diablo Canyon right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Bill Hawk earned his 16th save in 19 chances. The Tritium raised their record to 44-72.

Garrison Généreux, who is tied for 8th in the TTWB in triples with 7, aided the Diablo Canyon cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop drove in one run.

"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Chávez told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
