Renegades Get Past Diablo Canyon for 4-3 Win
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Texas Renegades and Diablo Canyon Tritium.

The Texas Renegades did just enough to secure a victory over the Diablo Canyon Tritium, 4-3, at The Cavern. Nobody did more than pitcher Felipe González. Texas pitcher Lance James got the win. He's now 5-3. Fernando León was tagged with the loss.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Jim Jamison was at the plate when Texas scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Renegades to go in front, 4-3.

"It's a mindset," said González. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."

With the victory, the Renegades upped their record to 59-53.
