Fans watched the Dam Site Drifters and the Wildwood Fishers fight to the finish.

The Dam Site Drifters dealt the Wildwood Fishers a 6-5 loss at Superior Stadium. Chet Tillman was the star on offense. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Dam Site pitcher Ling-lai Ran got the win, upping his record to 12-7. Will Parker got the loss. Michinori Shinohara converted his 18th save in 20 tries.

In the bottom of the sixth, Tillman put his team in front with his 8th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came against Will Parker, made it 5-3, Dam Site.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Wildwood manager Scott Smith. "The effort was great."

With the win, Dam Site pushed its record to 60-52.
