The Wicker Park Devil Cats beat the Columbus Red Birds, 12-5, at Devil Cat Park. Holeka Pelekinako, in particular, was impressive. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The win gives Wicker Park a season record of 60-51.

In the first inning, Pelekinako had a 3-run home run for Wicker Park. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Devil Cats on top, 5-1.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Wicker Park manager Nick Angelocci.
