Tritium Walk It Off for 31st Win of Season
The 5-3 Diablo Canyon win over Wicker Park was due largely to Walt Ortíz. The Tritium left fielder was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2. Jesús Aguirre, credited with the win, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits. The win puts Diablo Canyon at 31-60.

Ho Choe was the walk-off hero for Diablo Canyon. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Tritium pinch hitter hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.

"Let's just say I'm happy we won," said Ortíz. "There are a lot of people in the clubhouse who like to whine too much when we lose."
