Hitmakers Win, 8-4, at Wildwood
Ray Buker left his imprint on the 8-4 Motown win against the Wildwood Fishers. Buker, who won the Roy Hobbs Award in 2043, went 3-4 with 2 triples, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3. Motown starter Carlos Hernández was credited with the win after throwing 110 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 9-2. With the victory, the Hitmakers upped their record to 53-35.

Buker had a key at-bat for Motown early in the game. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and gave Motown an early 1-0 lead.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Buker told the Motown Times.
