Stephen Batchelor left his imprint on the 6-3 Potthole win against the Reykjavik Phoenix. Batchelor, who is tied for 9th in the TTWB in home runs with 22, was 2-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Potthole reliever Bong-ok Park picked up the win, upping his record to 2-4. Erjan Schoe took the loss. The Pride raised their record to 32-53.
In the bottom of the seventh, Potthole designated hitter Orlando Serrano had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and two out, Serrano stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 4-3, Potthole. For the game, he went 1 for 4.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Serrano, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
