Wiggins Sensational for Renegades
The Nest was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.

Texas Renegades starter Donald Wiggins turned in a top-notch performance against the Great Black Swamp Mud Hens at The Nest. The result was a win for the Renegades, 2-0. Mark Geehan was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 20 of 22 save opportunities.

The Mud Hens had trouble solving Wiggins, who surrendered no earned runs on 4 hits over 8 innings.

"Donald was Donald," said Renegades manager Todd Newcomer. "We know what we'll get whenever he takes the mound."

Texas goes to 56-29. The win puts them 3 games up in their division.
