Texas beat Great Black Swamp at The Nest, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Ken Curry, who earned player of the game honors. Texas is now 55-29, 3 games up in the To The Wall Baseball Patriotic League.

Hung Shao provided some late-game drama. In the top of the ninth, with no one out and a runner on 2nd, Shao hit a run-scoring single. It helped Texas take the lead and grab the win.

"We take it day by day here," said Shao, "and today was a good one for us."
