Phoenix Come Back Late to Clip Pride

Ho Choe did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Potthole Pride from losing, 6-5, to the Reykjavik Phoenix at MDOT Park. Choe was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Reykjavik reliever Keith Bissett picked up the win, upping his record to 1-5. Len Johnson absorbed the loss. With the victory, the Phoenix record now stands at 33-52.
In the top of the ninth, Reykjavik second baseman Min-Had Sumual had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 3rd and two out, Sumual stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 6-5, Reykjavik. For the game, he went 3-5 with 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI.
"I felt good up there," said Sumual. "I saw the ball well."
