Nightmare Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Boomsticks
Edgar Guerrero batted in 3 runs to lead Nashville to a win over Asheville. The final score was 6-5. Guerrero chipped in with 1 single and 1 home run. Nashville, now 47-37, holds third place in the To The Wall Baseball Nationalist League.

The Boomsticks had been locked in a 5-5 tie with the Nightmare going into the top of the eighth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old third baseman Derek Hagler came to the plate. Hagler hit a solo home run on a 2-0 sinker from Asheville hurler Don Bennett. It was Hagler's 9th home run of the year.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Hagler.
