Nemoto drives in 4 runs to Power Devil Cats Offense
Getting a good performance from shortstop Kata Nemoto, the Wicker Park Devil Cats defeated the Indianapolis Indians, 14-7. Nemoto went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for the Devil Cats. The winner was José Molina in relief. His record improves to 6-2. Ryan Durango took the loss. The win puts Wicker Park at 41-39 this season.

Francisco Martínez hit a 3-run home run off Ryan Durango in the bottom of the second, which put the Devil Cats ahead, 4-3. In addition to the homer, Martínez had 2 doubles, while going 3 for 6.

"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Martínez told the Wicker Park Herald.
