Phoenix Take Down Tritium, 6-5

The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.
The Diablo Canyon Tritium got a superb performance from designated hitter Juan Leal. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Reykjavik. The Phoenix won the game, 6-5. Leal was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Herman Nance, credited with the win, is now 3-2. He allowed no runs on no hits.
Reykjavik won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and Bill Hawk on the mound for Diablo Canyon, third baseman William Stephens hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Phoenix fans to their feet.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Reykjavik manager Arthur Ecklund.
The Phoenix, at 32-43, sit in 9th place in the To The Wall Baseball Nationalist League.
