Hit Parade: Gonzáles Gets Cycle
Gary Gonzáles hit for the cycle and paced the Texas Renegades to a 12-5 victory over the Dam Site Drifters at Superior Stadium today.

The Renegades left fielder led the way for his club with 4 hits in 5 at-bats -- 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- along with 2 runs batted in and 3 runs.

"Now that I know what Gary is capable of, I'm going to expect it more often," Texas manager Todd Newcomer joked with reporters after the game.

Gary Gonzáles hit a solo-shot off Miguel Matos in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.

Currently Gonzáles is batting .299 with 80 hits and 12 home runs. He has knocked in 39 runs and scored 35 times.
