A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Ypsi Yard Cats and Indianapolis Indians.

Sam Hicks pitched a gem to lead Ypsi to victory over the Indianapolis Indians, 6-0. The win gives Ypsi a season record of 44-29.

Hicks, who dominated for Ypsi, earned the victory to move to 3-2. He was in control the whole game, scattering 3 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 5. Indianapolis batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Hicks.
