Min-Had Sumual hit a 2-run home run off Carlos Hernández in the bottom of the third, which put the Phoenix ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, Sumual had 1 single and 1 double, while going 3 for 4.

"Eric just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Reykjavik manager Arthur Ecklund.
