Motown right-hander Michael Booth pitched his team to victory over the Reykjavik Phoenix at Flaming Ashes Ballpark. The final score was 4-2. Bill Pilgrim was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities. Motown has now won 4 in a row.

Motown used the timely hitting of Cisco Sánchez to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Hitmakers on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
