Phoenix Walk It Off for 28th Win of Season
Despite a fine performance by shortstop Luke Morris, the Duke City Heisenbergs lost to the Reykjavik Phoenix, 8-7. Morris was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Mike Lambert snagged the win in relief. In 3.2 innings, the left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit. He's now 5-0 on the season. The Phoenix, at 28-35, sit in 9th place in the To The Wall Baseball Nationalist League.

William Stephens was the walk-off hero for Reykjavik. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Phoenix third baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"This place was electric at the end," Stephens said.
