The Wildwood Fishers got a sterling performance from pitcher Brian Hicks, but the Ypsi Yard Cats still prevailed, 5-4. Hicks threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball. With the win, the Yard Cats sit at 37-24.

In the top of the ninth inning, Alfonso Alemán went deep for the Yard Cats. With Ypsi trailing 4-2, he drilled a 2-run home run.

"Both teams played hard," said Ypsi manager Patrick Holt.
