The Indianapolis Indians got a magnificent performance from pitcher Randall Evans, who muffled the Ludington offense en route to a tight 1-0 Indians win at Thunder Stadium. Indianapolis reliever Yosai Kato was the winner. His record is now 2-3. The losing pitcher was Broderick Harper. The Indians saw their record improve to 26-32.

Tyler Phillips was the walk-off hero for Indianapolis. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Indians second baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
