The Iowa City Stalkers picked up a win at Hayden Fry Field, courtesy of Mark Townsley. The left-hander helped his team stop the Columbus Red Birds, 2-1. With the win, Iowa City upped its record to 26-25.
Townsley earned the win to move to 6-4. In his complete game performance, he allowed 1 run on 5 hits, striking out 3 and walking 1.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Townsley.
