The Wildwood Fishers downed the Newcastle House of Brews, 11-5, at Moses Fleetwood Walker Park. The Fishers were led by Seinosuke Watanabe. He slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Reliever Lúcio Alonso picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Pedro Gallegos took the loss. The win puts Wildwood at 29-19 this season.

It could have been a different outcome for Wildwood, had it not been for John Wright, the ten-time All-Star . Wright contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Wildwood up, 2-0.
