Woodruff Lifts Heisenbergs to 6-3 Triumph
Eric Woodruff left his imprint on the 6-3 Duke City win against the Asheville Boomsticks. Woodruff, who won the Moonlight Graham Award in 2049, was 3-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Carlos Romano sewed up the save, his 1st. With the win, Duke City upped its record to 25-25.

Pedro Díaz, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Díaz contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Duke City up, 5-2.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Díaz.
