LumberJacks Lose to Heisenbergs, 6-2
|
Duke City second baseman Nathan Carter made his presence felt in the 6-2 Heisenbergs triumph over the Ludington LumberJacks. Carter was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. After today's action, Duke City sits at 24-25, while Ludington falls to 24-24.
The Heisenbergs got a big at-bat from right fielder Eric Woodruff. For the game, Woodruff was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Duke City a 4-2 lead.
