|
Central Valley designated hitter Avery Sheffield was a significant contributor in his team's 6-5 triumph over the Phoenix Downs. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Central Valley. Matt Thomas was the winner. Over 7 innings, he allowed 5 runs on 8 hits, with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts.
