The performance of Fusitua Tuimo proved critical in helping Reykjavik beat Ypsi, 8-3. The Phoenix catcher was 2-4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The victory puts Reykjavik at 18-26.

In the bottom of the second inning, Reykjavik got a key at-bat from Tuimo. With no outs, runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Phoenix trailing 1-0, Tuimo hit a 3-run home run.

"We maximized our offense today," said Reykjavik skipper Arthur Ecklund. "That makes everyone's life easier."
