Getting a good performance from designated hitter Orlando Serrano, the Letterkenny Shamrocks defeated the Great Black Swamp Mud Hens, 8-2. Serrano went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Shamrocks. Letterkenny has now won 5 straight.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Serrano, the 2nd overall pick in the 2039 draft, hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Shamrocks into the lead, 3-1.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Letterkenny manager Matt Philpott. "Our pregame was pretty good."
