Ypsi used a superb performance from starting pitcher Tim García to down the Duke City Heisenbergs, 4-0. García, the winner, moves to 4-1. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 1 walk. With the victory, the Yard Cats upped their record to 27-17.

Ypsi used a timely hit from Walt Richards to get the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Yard Cats ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
