Bouchard Makes 300 HR Mark
|
It's official. Charles Bouchard of the Newcastle House of Brews hit his 300th home run tonight.
The Newcastle House of Brews took on the Asheville Boomsticks and downed them 5-3, but the big story of the night was the milestone home run for Bouchard. He rounded the bases with a smile and politely stepped on home plate and walked back to the dugout.
"300 is a big number, and I am thankful for the ability to get to this milestone. But it's all about the team today, my accomplishments are just one piece to the House of Brews puzzle."
The House of Brews right fielder went 1-for-3 with 1 home run and 2 RBI as the Newcastle House of Brews topped the Asheville Boomsticks.
Lifetime Bouchard is hitting .248 with 1132 hits, 116 doubles, 18 triples and 300 home runs. He has scored 794 runs and driven in 772.
