Letterkenny Shamrocks starter Jorge Reyes pitched a strong game against the Nashville Nightmare at Flaming Ashes Ballpark, leading the Shamrocks to victory, 5-3. The win belongs to Víctor Gonzáles in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Ángel Reyna took the loss for Nashville. Driscoll Peaty got the save, the 12th for him this season.

Letterkenny relied on the hitting of José Ocampo to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Shamrocks on top, 4-3. For the game, Ocampo had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Ocampo told the Letterkenny Daily. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
